Season of Lent - During Lent we give 100%!
Lent is time in our Church's Liturgical Calendar where at our school we consciously take time to do things for others and give generously to Project Compassion. Each classroom has a Project Compassion box on their prayer table - please give if you can. We have raised $167.20 so far.

Sustainability - News from our Canteen
Thank you to our School Canteen Company 'Made Fresh' who support our Sustainability initiatives! Please see the message below showing how they are trying to make a difference in caring for our common home:

"We have sourced a wooden eating spoon for the students when purchasing items in the canteen.

The brand is Bio Pak who state they produce the most sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging on the market. These spoons are now in the canteen and will be given to students who purchase a juice jelly or a custard.

If a student requests a spoon from the canteen for a product they have not purchased, eg, an item they have bought from home, there will be a charge of 20 cents. Due to the high cost of the product, we regret we have no choice but to introduce this charge.

Wooden stirrers, similar to a paddle pop stick are available in the canteen for any frozen product that is purchased in the canteen such as frozen milk, frozen juice and frozen juice jelly."
