Welcome Kindergarten:

Last Thursday we welcomed Kindergarten to Good Samaritan. The children were excited and began to settle into the school routines very well. Thank you to the Kindergarten parents who have been asked this week to place their child’s school bag near the hall and to remain on the main playground each morning. Dismissal for Kindergarten is now with the rest of the school.

School Dismissal in Extreme Weather:

In the event of extreme weather, rain or extreme heat, car pick up lines will not operate. On days such as this students will be dismissed from their classrooms. Parents will receive a ‘Skoolbag’ alert to inform of the dismissal arrangements.

School Uniform:

Many thanks to all parents and carers who have ensured that their child/ren are in the correct uniform and using the school logo bag. It is understood that some parents may have purchased joggers at the end of last year that are not predominately white. A grace period will be allowed in these circumstances.

Parent Call to Action: Parents/carers are requested to purchase predominately   white joggers when your child requires new shoes thereby adhering to the School Uniform Policy.

School Handbook and Policies:

The School Handbook is currently being reviewed. The handbook will include all the procedures and processes of the school. In addition, the School’s Policies are also being reviewed. When completed these will be published on the school website and will also be set as periodical reminders in the newsletters.
