Season of Lent
The Season of Lent commences today, Ash Wednesday. Our school will be participating in a Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion at 11:45am in our
Co-Cathedral. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Lent is time in our Church's Liturgical Calendar where at our school we consciously take time to do things for others and give generously to Project Compassion.
Project Compassion Launch
Yesterday, Mrs Jennett, Will E, Molly D and Cooper B (Year 6 Student Representatives) represented our school at the Diocesan Project Compassion Launch at St Brigid's Gwynneville. Bishop Brian Mascord spoke about the importance of the 40 days of Lent in having time to reflect on and strengthen our relationship with Jesus by not only going without and through prayer but by doing things for other people and our environment.
Catholic Schools Week - Parish Mass
On Saturday 9 March our school will be hosting the 6pm Parish Mass. Andrew Chinn - well known Religious Music composer, will be leading us in Music. All welcome!

Mess Free Monday & Waste Free Wednesday
Congratulations to the following students who were captured with their ‘Mess Free Monday’ or 'Waste Free Wednesday' lunch boxes. To be captured on either ‘Mess Free Monday’ or ‘Waste Free Wednesday’ you need to bring a lunch box without any packaging. The idea is to leave waste at home to try to limit the waste flying around our playground and in our school bins!
