PRINCIPAL'S DESK:
Dear Parents and Carers,
Our Welcome Barbeque on Monday evening certainly spoke volumes about the sense of community we have here at Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School Fairy Meadow. It was wonderful to engage with many families and hear their hopes of the year ahead. A big thank you to Jas Sidhu, owner of Outback Steakhouse, Fairy Meadow for providing the steak sandwiches at a discounted rate and the Parents and Friends Association for subsidisng the remaining cost. With over 350 people, it was a huge community success!
Following the barbeque our 2025 Building Project was unveiled. This is an exciting time for Good Samaritan with a 3.7million refurbishment, ensuring that we will have contemporary and updated learning spaces. In addition to this a digital sign will be installed on the Princes Highway and an Adventure Playground on the school grounds. A display will be made available in the office in the coming weeks for those parents who were not available to attend the meeting. A consultative parent committee has also been formed, as we move into the design phase of the project.
Thank you to Alison McCarthy, Katie Bonnor & Olivia De Santis for being parent representatives of the Building Consultative Community
At this meeting we also elected our Parents and Friends executive. I would like to acknowledge the 2024 executive for their tireless work
