FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK:
Announcement Letter regarding New Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to remind you of the importance of responsible bus behaviour for our students. It is crucial for the safety of all that our students exhibit appropriate behaviour while on their way to and from school. A strong partnership between the school and parents is essential in educating our children about the importance of bus behaviour. By working together, we can ensure that our students understand the expectations and consequences of their actions while travelling on the bus. It is important for parents and teachers to reinforce positive behaviour and to have open communication with their children/students about the importance of respecting the bus driver, following rules, and being considerate of others while on the bus.
I appreciate your support in helping us educate our students about responsible bus behaviour. I have included some information from Transport NSW, including their Guidelines for Managing School Student Behaviour on Buses: The Code of Conduct for students. Bus drivers. Operators, school Principals and parents/guardians.All students must wear the Summer uniform from the beginning of Term 4.
Thank you for supporting our Good Samaritan Uniform policy and expectations. The policy is included in this newsletter, under Parent and School Partnership.
Mrs Lisa Tyson
Acting Principal
