Dear Parents and Carers of Good Samaritan,

We are holding a Working Bee this Saturday morning 16th March. Please check the notification on COMPASS and nominate if you are able to help in any way. Many hands make light work! The purpose of the Working Bee is for painting, planting and a general tidy up in readiness for our School Open Day on Friday 22nd March. Our School Open Day is a fabulous opportunity for families to see Good Samaritan school ‘in action’, meet the staff and see what our school has to offer those seeking a catholic education for their child. 

As we strive to maintain open communication between the school and our parents, I want to address a topic that may have been a subject of concern for some of you – the use of casual teachers and their potential impact on your child's learning experience.

At Good Samaritan, we understand that consistency in teaching is essential for fostering a stable learning environment. However, there are instances when our regular teaching staff may be unavailable due to illness, professional development, or other unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, we rely on qualified casual teachers to ensure that your child's education remains uninterrupted.

I want to reassure you that the use of casual teachers does not compromise the quality of education your child receives. Our casual teachers undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure they possess the necessary qualifications, experience, and dedication to maintain our high standards of education. Additionally, they are provided with detailed lesson plans and resources to ensure continuity in the curriculum.

We encourage open communication and value your feedback. If you ever have concerns or questions about your child's learning experience, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
