Our fortnightly PB4L focus for this fortnight is speaking positively to one another.

Effective communication and positive interactions are key components in building a supportive and nurturing school community. Encouraging students to speak positively to one another not only fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere but also supports their overall personal and social development.

Here are some ways in which we are promoting positive communication and its benefits within our school:

• Respect and Kindness:. By using polite language and treating each other with respect, we are creating an atmosphere where everyone feels valued.
• Conflict Resolution: This empowers student to express their feelings and thoughts effectively while maintaining a respectful and positive tone.
• Active Listening: Students are being explicitly taught how to listen to others, fostering deeper and more meaningful connections.
• Words of Encouragement: Encouraging words and constructive feedback can boost a child's self-esteem and motivation.
• Role Modeling: Our staff and educators are committed to being positive role models for our students. By exemplifying respectful and positive communication, we hope to inspire our students to follow suit.
