Every Christian community experiences difficulties in one form or another. Misunderstandings occur, divisions arise. This week’s Gospel reminds us that Christ is present in our communities even when they are broken, when only two or three meet in his name. Healing occurs when we seek to embody in our communities the qualities of Christ, especially forgiveness and mutual love.
