Makerspace
As of this week a new club will begin, it is called Makerspace. A makerspace is a place where people can come together and learn using materials to develop and create a project such as a Marshmallow launcher or coding a robot to clean your classroom. This club, promotes learning through play.
Maker Space will be held in the STEM room on Tuesdays each week with it being open to grade a week.
Week 2: Year 3
Week 3: Year 4
Week 4: Year 5
Week 6: Year 6
Week 7: Year 3
Week 8: Year 4
Week 9: Year 5
Week 10: Year 6
Students will be invited to attend a club that interests them and we hope to engage students to try something new.
We also have passive areas available in each playground. These areas provide options for students to play quietly or engage in a range of activities. Passive playgrounds are a great way to support students with social skills and social engagement.
