Edward, Callum and Nash represented Good Samaritan and the Wollongong Diocese at the MacKillop Football Trials held in Goulburn last Friday. We are very proud to have three students selected for these trials where games are played against teams from Dioceses across the state.

The competition was certainly tough but a stellar effort was made by the team with wins against Wagga Wagga and Canberra Goulburn. Unfortunately, the Wollongong team lost to Sydney and Parramatta and whilst our Good Samaritan boys were not selected for the MacKillop Team they displayed enormous courage against some of the best players in the state.

On Tuesday 10 boys from Year 5 and Year 6 participated in the NSW Basketball Primary Schools Tournament. They had some very impressive wins and also went down to some tough opponents. Congratulations to the team for being great ambassadors for our school.
