From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents and Carers of Good Samaritan,

Welcome back to the new school year! We are really looking forward to meeting up with the children in their new classes tomorrow. The staff have used the last couple of days to make sure that the school and rooms are ready for another year of learning!

Tomorrow, Tuesday 31 January, all students are to wear their full Summer uniform. Mrs Olima will take classes for their first Physical Education lessons of the year on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Sports uniform is to be worn on those days (see below).

iPads:

iPads will not be required in Years 3-6 until Tuesday 14 February. This is to allow teachers to establish the classroom procedures and expectations regarding the iPads for learning. Parents are asked to ensure that iPads do not  come to school until Tuesday 14 February.

The school newsletter has had a bit of a ‘revamp’ to include dates and reminders for the week ahead. As much as possible, all reminders (whole school, class, grade & stage) for the week will be published in each Wednesday’s newsletter.
