News from Year 6 Classrooms:
Year 6 students and teachers enjoyed a busy and productive Term 3. Students have celebrated a special Year 6 Mass with Bishop Brian, continued the leadership program with Cameron, presented a wonderful Science Day for the whole school, enjoyed a visit from the St George-Illawarra Dragons and participated with enthusiasm in the Book Week activities.

Dragons Visit
On the 8 August we had the pleasure of welcoming the St George-Illawarra Dragons to Stage 3. The students participated in fitness drills and skill activities. Pictured below with star player Kezie Apps. Kezie has achieved the following representative honours: New South Wales State of Origin (2014-current); Australia Jillaroos (2014-current); Australia World Cup Nines (2019); Women's All Stars (2013-17); Country New South Wales (2018-19, 2021).

Science Week
In recognition of the 2022 Science Week, Year 6 students worked in teams to prepare and present a variety of exciting experiments for the entire school. They did a wonderful job and certainly encouraged the interest of our younger students in science.
