Year 6 Mass with Bishop Brian: Gathered As One
Year 6 celebrated their final year of primary school with Bishop Brian on August 11 at All Saints Catholic Church, Shellharbour. Special mention to Alexander Bradshaw-Wett who welcomed the congregation and Acknowledged Country. We are all very proud of you Alex!
The students had the chance to have lunch together and mix with students from other schools - including meeting and talking to those who will be attending high school with them next year. They also thoroughly enjoyed the Catholic Youth Ministry Wollongong (CYMW) team’s outdoor lunchtime concert together.

Luke 1:39-56
An angel of the Lord came to Mary and told her that God was pleased with her. She would conceive a son, who would be the Son of God. She should name him Jesus.
Mary said, “I am the Lord’s servant. Let God’s will be done to me.”
Soon afterwards, Mary went to visit her cousin Elizabeth who was pregnant. As soon as Elizabeth saw Mary, the baby inside her womb jumped with joy. Elizabeth said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!”
Mary sang a song of praise to God, glorifying the name of the Lord and thanking God for all of the great things that the Lord had done for her.
She stayed with Elizabeth for three months before returning home.
