News from the Year 3 Classrooms
Students in Year 3 have been very busy this term, from being creative authors, enthusiastic story tellers and enthusiastic scientists.
In Science, Year 3 participated in a Heating Up Science Day where students were scientists and conducted a variety of scientific investigations to find out how materials change when heated and cooled. According to Maddie in 3 Blue it was “Really, really exciting and interesting and I learnt alot about heat!”
This term, Year 3 has been experimenting with wordless picture books. They have been working very hard to write sentences that are descriptive, imaginative and that paint a picture with their words. Miss Rae and Mrs Sutton were so proud of the stories the students produced that we just had to share them with students in Kindergarten and Year 1. Thank you to the Kindergarten and Year 1 students who were such great and attentive listeners.
