This term in English, Year 5 will learn about:

• Convince me! A study about point of view using persuasive and imaginative text. 

We are learning to compose, edit and present a variety of persuasive texts for a range of audiences and contexts. Students will learn that persuasive texts must take into account audience, form and purpose. Students will recognise that choice of language has an impact on all types of argument. Students will also learn to recognise the effect of language and multimedia elements in a range of multimedia texts.
