This week Year 6 began their Leadership Program Stepping Up to the Challenge. The students were engaged in high interest activities. Connected to the PDHPE curriculum, the students will:

• Explore the possibilities, discover their potential and act authentically
• Come to understand that our daily thoughts, words and actions matter
• Recognise that our journey will involve both successes and challenges 
• Remember that, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts” – Winston Churchill.
• Show that we are all capable of making a difference in our own and others’ lives. 
• Know that we are all in this together! 

The program is facilitated by Cameron Brown from Explore Discover Act with the supervision and assistance of the Year 6 teachers.
